Abdulhayy Modibbo: Sen. Saliu Mustapha Helps With ₦1 Million
In display of compassion and generosity, the Senator representing Kwara Central, Mallam Saliu Mustapha donated N1million to support efforts to rescue Abdulhayy Modibbo from Waardenburg Syndrome.
Senator Saliu Mustapha gave the donation on Friday to support Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) solicitation to raise N10,500,000 for medical attention, including a Cochlear implant and other essential forms of rehabilitation.

Abdulhayy, who was presented to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) at the tender age of 2 years and 7 months, is now 4 years and 6 months old. Waardenburg Syndrome, a developmental disorder known to cause hearing loss and various other symptoms, was diagnosed in young Abdulhayy during his time at UITH after his parents sought help due to his inability to speak.
In his reaction, the ASKOMP Chairman Saliu Taofeek applauded Senator Saliu Mustapha for his act of kindness by acting a letter of support written by the association.
