Ashiru Assures Increased Development for Kwara South in 2024 Budget

Senator Oyelola Ashiru, Deputy Senate Leader representing Kwara South Senatorial District at the National Assembly has assured his constituents of a surge in impactful projects as outlined in the 2024 budget.
During a media parley with the Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) at his Offa GRA Residence on Wednesday, Senator Ashiru highlighted the inclusivity of the budget, ensuring that the interests of all seven local government areas in Kwara South are addressed.
He emphasized the allocation of fair shares to Kwara South, encompassing constituency projects, programs, and capital projects, with a commitment to swift implementation for a positive impact on the lives of constituents.

Additionally, Senator Ashiru proudly announced his role in facilitating the construction of nine Vocational Centres, which he regards as economic hubs.
These centers, according to him, aim to empower youth, women, and others while creating sustainable job opportunities.
Expressing future plans, the politician revealed intentions to build 12 vocational centers across various local governments, fostering collaboration with institutions such as Federal Polytechnic Offa for youth certification after training.
In another development, he commended the Governor of Kwara State, who doubles as the Chairman of Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his commitment to enhancing the security architecture of Kwara South.
