Again, Bandits Abduct 300 Schoolgirls in Zamfara
Barely less than two weeks after the abduction of Kagara school boys in Niger State, gunmen have again kidnapped some students of Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe, Talata Mafara local government area of Zamfara State.
The incident happened in the early hours of Friday, with nothing less than 300 girls abducted.
This is confirmed by one of the distressed residents of Kawaye Village, who, two of his daughters are among the victims.
When contacted, SP Muhammad Shehu, Police Public Relations Officer in Zamfara, said he could not react.
“Give me some time, I can’t say anything now,” he said.
