BBYDI Congratulates Emir of Ilorin on 30th Anniversary

The Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative, BBYDI has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on his 30th anniversary on the throne.
The organisation, in a statement signed by its Communications Director, Sanni Alausa-Issa, and made available to INCNews247 on Tuesday, described the Emir’s reign as a period marked by peace, progress, and remarkable contributions to the development of the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State.
According to the Executive Director of BBYDI, Nurah Jimoh-Sanni, the Emir has demonstrated exemplary leadership and served as a unifying force over the past three decades.

“His Royal Highness has been a beacon of stability and a supporter of development initiatives across Kwara State. His moral guidance and deep commitment to justice continue to inspire generations, particularly in promoting education, tolerance, and community harmony,” she said.
Jimoh-Sanni lauded the monarch for his unwavering support for BBYDI’s programmes and advocacy efforts, especially in the areas of youth empowerment, good governance, and the fight against gender-based violence.
“His public endorsement of our campaigns has encouraged greater community participation and strengthened partnerships with traditional and religious institutions,” she added.
The statement noted that under the Emir’s leadership, the Ilorin Emirate has continued to be a model of peace, mutual respect, and collaboration, the values that align with BBYDI’s mission to build inclusive and sustainable communities.
“We are profoundly grateful for His Royal Highness’s continued support for our work. His advocacy for education, women’s empowerment, and moral integrity has reinforced our collective mission to create a society where every individual can thrive,” Jimoh-Sanni said.
BBYDI also praised the Emir’s efforts in promoting education, cultural preservation, and interfaith dialogue, saying his reign has left an indelible mark on the history of the Ilorin Emirate.
As the Emir celebrates three decades on the throne, the organisation joined the Ilorin Emirate and Nigerians at large in wishing him continued good health, wisdom, and a reign filled with peace and prosperity.
