Buba disclosed that the identified terrorist figure has been orchestrating illicit activities, including the operation of an illegal gold mining camp in Kawayi, Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State, wherein he commands a significant number of individuals.

Additionally, Buzu has garnered notoriety for his involvement in cattle rustling endeavors.

Highlighting recent events, Buba revealed Buzu’s group’s culpability in the massacre of 19 villagers in Farar Kasa.

Halilu Buzu has been deemed a High Value Target, prompting an official manhunt by the military.

Also, he is identified as a significant arms supplier, enjoying trust among arms dealers sourcing weaponry from Libya.
