Defence Minister Extols President Buhari at 79
The Minister of Defence Maj Gen Bashir Salihi Magashi (rtd) has joined fellow Nigerians to congratulate His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR on the occasion of his remarkable 79th birthday.
General Magashi described President and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces as a role model worthy of emulation by all Nigerians in the onerous task of building a virile and United Nation.

He said President Buhari epitomises a complete symbol of a quintessential Nationalist and an uncommon patriot whose entire life of almost eight decades have been dedicated to unwavering service to the nation.
He said as number one citizen, he has left no one in doubt of his administration’s doggedness to successfully entrench the legacy of a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
The Defence Chief placed it on record that the president Buhari led government has the pedigree of consolidating the vision of the founding fathers of the nation to preserve and defend the indivisibility of one Nigeria.
While felicitating with Mr President, the Defence Minister thanked Almighty Allah for sparing his life to mark his 79th birthday and wished him many more years of continued service to the nation and humanity in general.
General Magashi on behalf of the entire leadership of the Defence Headquarters and the Tri-Services seized the opportunity of President’s birthday to assure him that his firmed commitment to ensure total dismantling of all structures of threats to national territorial integrity in parts of the Country will be actualised under his watch as Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
