The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has intensified efforts to sanitise its operations, directing members of its management to engage officers and men nationwide in a renewed push for discipline, professionalism, and zero tolerance for corruption.
The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, gave the directive in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which emphasises integrity and accountability in public service.
The engagement, which took place across FRSC commands nationwide on March 3, 2026, forms part of the Corps Marshal’s reform initiatives aimed at repositioning the agency as a model institution built on discipline, transparency, and public trust.

The leadership of the Corps stressed that the renewed emphasis on professionalism was necessary to strengthen institutional integrity and restore public confidence in the organisation.
Personnel were also reminded that the mandate of the FRSC goes beyond traffic enforcement to safeguarding lives, promoting responsible road use, and serving Nigerians with honour, transparency, and accountability.
Under Mohammed’s leadership, the Corps said it had begun implementing measures aimed at strengthening professionalism, ethical conduct, and operational efficiency across its formations.
The Corps management reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing reforms, assuring motorists and other road users that the FRSC would continue to strengthen its operations to ensure safer roads and improved service delivery nationwide.
