International Group Partners WADHI, ACCI to Accelerate Arahah Market
Samzuga Group has assured its readiness to partner with Women Arise Development and Humanitarian Initiative (WADHI) and Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) to accelerate Arahah Farmers Market in order to compete globally.
Archbishop Dr Sam Zuga, its founder, made the assurance on Saturday in Abuja when he visited the market.
Zuga, a Dubai-based Nigerian, said he was purposely in Nigeria having examined the good entrepreneurship concept and initiative of the market, suggesting if well harnessed, it will not only promote our local produce but also create more jobs.
In her remarks, the convener of Women Arise Development and Humanitarian Initiative WADHI and Arahah Farmers Market, Mrs Esther Eghobamien-Mshelia, expressed her delightness for the partnership, considering how it has been difficult for local entrepreneurs to get a fair market share through window of opportunities for export as provided by the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
She added that they will work on every possible deficiency by training the members on quality standardisation, packaging, quality assurance, branding amongst others for a more global recognition and acceptance.
