IEDPU FCT Hails Emir of Ilorin on 85th Birthday

The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, IEDPU FCT, has extended warm felicitations to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, on the occasion of his 85th birthday.
In a statement signed by the union’s Chairman, Alhaji Lukman Atanda Abdullah, the Emir was commended for his remarkable leadership and contributions to the development of the Ilorin Emirate.
According to Alhaji Abdullah, the 11th Emir who doubles as the Chairman of Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council’s leadership has been characterized by pragmatism, vision, and a deep commitment to the welfare of his people.

“The Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR, is a father figure who has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of the Ilorin Emirate,” he said.
The IEDPU FCT Chairman noted that the Emir’s tenure has been marked by significant growth, modernization, and development, which has enhanced the quality of life for the people of the emirate.
“Under the Emir’s pragmatic and visionary leadership, the Ilorin Emirate has experienced significant growth and modernization, and he has been a unifying force, promoting peaceful coexistence and development,” Alhaji Abdullah added.
As the Emir, who is also the Union’s Patron celebrates this milestone birthday, Alhaji Abdullah prayed for his continued good health, happiness, and long life in the service of Islam, the Ilorin Emirate, and humanity.
“We pray for the Emir’s continued good health and long life, that he may continue to serve Islam, the Ilorin Emirate, and humanity with the same zeal and dedication that has characterized his leadership,” he said.
