The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, IEDPU Northern Zone has felicitated with Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman, Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), on his 59th birthday.

 

 

In a statement by the Zone’s Chairman, A.S. Moyosore Esq on Wednesday. described Prof. Sulaiman as a shining star, praising his dedication to youth empowerment and the Emirate’s development.

 

 

“Prof. Sulaiman’s unwavering commitment to the upliftment of our youths and the Emirate’s progress is a beacon of hope for our community,” Moyosore said.

“We appreciate your consistent support for the cause of the Union. You have demonstrated your dedication to the cause of the Union and your approach to youth empowerment in the Emirate is well appreciated,” the statement read.

 

 

IEDPU Northern Zone further commended Prof. Sulaiman’s exemplary leadership at NILDS, saying, “Under your guidance, NILDS has become a formidable institution, shaping Nigeria’s legislative landscape. Your impact will be felt for generations to come.”

 

 

As the Director-General of NILDS, Prof. Sulaiman has been instrumental in shaping the Institute’s vision and objectives.

 

 

Under his leadership, NILDS has become a reputable institution for legislative training and research, with President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, describing it as “Nigeria’s Cambridge and Harvard.”

 

 

The zone wished Prof. Sulaiman many happy returns in good health and sound mind, praying for his continued contributions to the union’s progress.

 

 

“We pray that Allah grants you many more years of service to our community, Nigeria, and humanity at large,” Moyosore said.
