IEYDA Hails Gov. AbdulRazaq on 64th Birthday Ceremony

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) across the five local government areas of Ilorin Emirate, under the auspices of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, has extended warm felicitations to Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) on his 64th birthday celebration.
In a joint statement signed by Alhaji Abdullahi Babatunde Salau, the National President of IEYDA, and Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunma, the National Publicity Secretary, and obtained by INCNews247, the association hailed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s unwavering commitment to advancing the welfare of Kwarans since his assumption of office.
During a special prayer session held at the IEYDA’s National Secretariat and led by Sheikh Muritala Otan, the National Missioner of the association, members took the opportunity to commend Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his efforts in addressing the challenges faced by Kwarans, particularly in the aftermath of subsidy removal.

However, IEYDA expressed concerns over the lingering hardships endured by many in the state and called upon Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to implement broader palliative measures that would benefit all citizens, not solely civil servants.
Highlighting the plight of families struggling to provide for their basic needs, IEYDA emphasized the importance of urgent action, especially with the onset of the fasting month of Ramadan.
They stressed the necessity for equitable distribution of relief efforts to ensure no segment of society is left behind, reflecting their commitment to grassroots engagement and advocacy.
In closing, IEYDA offered prayers for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s continued success and urged him to redouble his efforts in alleviating the hardships faced by the people of Kwara State.
