Igbeayerere Kwara: My vision and successes, all to Gov. AbdulRazaq – KOZ
After the successful lunch of the multi-million Naira mega business venture in Igbaja on January 25, 2022, I proceeded to form 22 widows into a cooperative and supported them with everyday household supplies to sell. That’s actually their business but have been doing it in a very small scale. Excitement was written all over them and they were moved to elect an executive made up of five women shortly after I handed those goods to them. They were christened Igbeayerere Alate Igbaja, adapted from KOZ Intervention (Igbeayerere Kwara).
Friday was chosen as their meeting day with our intervention office as the rendezvous. Interestingly, they kept their promise and met yesterday. They defiled all odds at ensuring the post-inauguration meeting saw the light of the day. Though the office manager was late in offering keys into the community center part of our office, they sat in the ante room to conduct their business. What a determination!

It’s my joy that they did not only make returns in thousands of Naira in readiness for next supplies as contained in their business plan but had received prospective members that will go into group two of Igbeayerere Alate Igbaja. I am really excited that, the vision is growing….
Many thanks to the man who gave me a veritable platform to freely express myself and drive my passion without hinderance. That’s the Captain of Kwara Progressive ship, His Excellency AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Executive Governor of Kwara State.
We have decided in our office to continue to pull resources from our private means to support the man who has positively touched the life of an average of the common on the street. We are building wealth for our people because he has supplied the wings to fly with. On this occasion of your birthday Sir, I wish to gift you the smile of our resilient, industrious and dutiful mothers in Igbeayerere Alate. I will like to gift you also the glowing countenances of men we gave yam seeds few weeks back whose harvest will contribute to your efforts to banish hunger from Kwara. I recall with appreciation the worthy partnership of our government with Aliko Dangote foundation when we disbursed N160m to 16,000 vulnerable rural women in Kwara State.
I dedicate its success to my principal, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the occasion of his birthday.
Happy birthday Sir and many more years shall you celebrate in joy, prosperity and good health.
