Ilorin-born Zainab Itakure Becomes FCT College Registrar

Ilorin-born Hajia Zainab Suleiman Itakure has been appointed as the Substantive Registrar of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) College of Education, Zuba, Abuja.
In a statement seen by INCNews247, the appointment was approved by the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike, and conveyed through a letter issued by the Acting Head of the Civil Service (HOS), FCT, dated December 22, 2025.

In the appointment letter, the Acting HOS congratulated Hajia Itakure and noted that the office of the Registrar demands a high level of dedication, integrity, personal initiative and professional competence.
She was accordingly urged to rise to the challenges of the position in the effective discharge of her duties in line with established rules and regulations.
Hajia Itakure, who has been in acting capacity, will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the institution, including the coordination of council and academic board activities, as well as the proper custody of official records.
Born on October 14, 1973, Hajia Zainab Suleiman Itakure is an indigene of Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State.
