Kwara 2027: Sanni Secures Endorsement from Plank Sellers

The Plank Sellers Association, Sawmill, Itamo: Ifesowapo, in Kwara State, has declared support for the governorship ambition of Engr. Femi Sanni, popularly known as ARABA, citing confidence in his leadership vision.
The endorsement was made during an interactive meeting between the association’s leadership and key stakeholders in the timber business, where members expressed optimism about Sanni’s capacity to drive inclusive growth in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the association, the Chairman said the group was convinced of the need to support a leader who understands the challenges confronting small and medium-scale enterprises.

He noted that Sanni’s reputation for accessibility and his listening approach to leadership distinguished him from other aspirants, describing him as a candidate with a practical understanding of grassroots realities.
According to him, “Our businesses face numerous challenges, from infrastructure deficits to policy limitations. We believe Engr. Sanni has demonstrated the kind of engagement and commitment needed to address these issues.”
Members of the association also expressed hope that, if elected, Sanni would implement policies that support local businesses and improve the working environment for traders across the state.
The development adds to the growing number of groups aligning with Sanni’s governorship bid, as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections in Kwara State continue to gather momentum.
