Ex-Minister Olu Agunloye Remanded in Kuje Amid Mambilla Power Project Fraud

A Federal High Court in Abuja has issued an order for the remand of Olu Agunloye, a former Minister of Power and Steel, in the Kuje Correctional Service.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, brought forward allegations of fraud related to the Mambilla Power Project, leading to Agunloye’s arraignment in the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday.

During the court proceedings, Agunloye pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against him.
Subsequently, the presiding judge ordered the remand of the former minister until bail considerations are addressed.
