NCS Issues Fresh Update on 2025 Recruitment Exercise

The Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, has cautioned shortlisted applicants in its 2025 recruitment exercise to beware of fraudulent messages, insisting that all official communication will be through verified email addresses only.
In a notice on Saturday and seen by INCNews247, the Service congratulated applicants who scaled the first stage of the process, but directed them to confirm and update their registered email addresses via the recruitment portal, http://updates.customs.gov.ng.
According to the NCS, the next phase of the exercise will involve a Computer-Based Test, with the date to be communicated through email.
Only candidates with verified email addresses will receive test instructions, login credentials and access links.
“The Service will only communicate with shortlisted applicants strictly through their registered email addresses. No communication will be conducted through unofficial platforms or social media pages,” the statement said.
The agency warned that those who fail to update or verify their details risk missing out on crucial information required for participation.
Reiterating that it does not demand or accept payment for recruitment, the NCS urged applicants to disregard fraudulent messages making the rounds on social media.
It added that shortlisted candidates in need of assistance with updating their emails or accessing the portal should contact its official helpdesk channels or visit www.customs.gov.ng for more information.
