One Killed, 200 Wounded as Napoli Celebrates First Title Win in 33 Years
On Thursday night, in Naples, during a night of celebration, after Napoli won its third Serie A title since 1953, shots were fired, killing one person and injuring nearly 200 others.
According to the Corriere della Sera newspaper, it is still unclear if the bullets were fired as part of the football celebrations or as part of criminal activity.
`The victim was connected to a local mafia clan, according to La Stampa newspaper, but died after being carried to the hospital. Authorities are looking into it.

Knife wounds, firecracker burns, and asthma problems brought on by breathing flare smoke resulted in more than 200 persons spending the night in hospitals due to injuries they acquired during the festivities.
With five games remaining after a record-equaling 1-1 draw against Udinese on Thursday, Napoli won their third league championship and their first in 33 years.
At the sound of the final whistle, thousands of fans in Udine, at the Stadio Maradona in Naples, and all around southern Italy’s largest city erupted in celebration.
