Drawing on the school’s rich history, he reminded them of the enduring lessons encapsulated in one of the school songs titled “You’re going to reap, just what you sow.”
The event further featured prayers for the career advancement of the union members by some of the old teachers in attendance.
Noteworthy highlights included a thought-provoking lecture titled “The Living Experiences: The Journey So Far” delivered by Barr Olajide Olawepo. The lecture sparked engaging discussions among the old students, demonstrating the enduring intellectual curiosity of the Oro Grammar School community.
Adding a cultural touch, current students graced the occasion with a captivating cultural display, showcasing the school’s vibrant heritage.
The climax of the celebration saw Alh Razak Adekanye, Vice Chairman of the anniversary committee, leading other members and guests in cutting the 40th-anniversary cake, symbolizing the shared history and unity among the Oro Grammar School alumni.
