PVC: Pat Utomi Accuses INEC of Putting Bureaucracy Above Democracy
Ahead of the 2023 general election, a political economist, Professor Pat Utomi has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to step up its efforts on voter registration and the issuance of Permanent Voter Cards.

Utomi claimed the electoral body was not doing enough.
He accused INEC of putting bureaucracy above democracy.
Expressing his displeasure over the situation, Utomi said he will keep pushing the Commission to do the needful in the interest of Nigeria’s democracy.
