Prof. Medinat Folorunsho Salman Appointed Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University of Education

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed Prof. Medinat Folorunsho Salman as the pioneer Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University of Education (KWSUED), making her the first female to hold the position.
Prof. Salman, a renowned mathematics education expert, brings extensive experience to her new role.
Until her appointment, she was a senior lecturer at the Department of Science Education and coordinator of the Educational Technology Centre, University of Ilorin.

A distinguished academic, Prof. Salman holds a Bachelor of Education from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (1985), Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Ilorin (1990), and a doctoral degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Ilorin (1998).
Her research interests include mathematics education, gender issues in mathematics and science education, and innovation in mathematics education in the developing world.
