Ilorin Community in Abuja Pays Condolence Visit to Saraki

A delegation from the Ilorin Community in Abuja has paid a condolence visit to Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the Senate President of the 8th National Assembly and the Waziri of Ilorin, following the passing of his mother, Mrs. Florence Saraki.

The delegation, led by A.S. Moyosore Esq and coordinated by Alhaji Aliyu Oba Ajikobi, visited Saraki at his residence in Maitama, Abuja, on Friday.

The delegation included notable members such as Alhaji Lukman Abdullahi Atanda, Alhaji Sulaiman Akanbi Oke, Alhaji Muyideen Jimoh, Director at FCTA and Alhaji Alabidun Shuaib Abdulrahman.

Others are Alhaji Saliu Imam, Director with AMCON, Barrister Taiye Alakoso and Barrister Ibrahim Durosinlohun.

During the visit, the community representatives expressed their deepest sympathies and prayed for divine strength for the Saraki family in this difficult time.

“We are here to extend our condolences to Dr. Saraki and his family. Indeed, Mrs. Florence Saraki was a matriarch whose legacy will continue to inspire many,” said A.S. Moyosore Esq. ”

“We stand with the Saraki family in this moment of grief, and we pray that you find strength in the legacy of Mrs. Florence Saraki”.

Alabidun Shuaib Abdulrahman led the prayers, saying, “May Allah grant the family the fortitude to bear this loss and may they find comfort in the fond memories they shared with her.”

He added, “The loss of a loved one is never easy,” praying that “May they emerge from this difficult time even stronger and more united as a family.”
