ACOE Set for 2025 Investiture, Public Lecture and Awards in Abuja

The Association of Corporate Online Editors (ACOE) has announced that its 2025 Investiture, Public Lecture and Awards ceremony will hold on November 25, 2025, at Azikiwe Hall of the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Central Business District, Abuja.

The annual event, according to a statement signed by the Chairman of the Association, Shola Akingboye, is themed “Strengthening Corporate Online Media for National Development.”

Akingboye said the theme underscores ACOE’s commitment to promoting credible online journalism, enhancing professional capacity, advancing digital innovation and fostering issues-based reporting that supports national development and good governance.

He noted that the 2025 edition also marks the Association’s third anniversary, with activities designed to highlight the growing influence of corporate online media in shaping public discourse.

The programme lineup includes a public lecture focusing on strategic communication, improved media–government collaboration, investment in digital infrastructure and accountability-driven reporting.

An awards ceremony will also hold to recognise individuals and institutions championing good governance, humanitarian service and national security.

Also, posthumous awards will be presented to fallen heroes who lost their lives in the fight against insurgency and banditry since 2010.

The event will climax with a gala night featuring anniversary cake-cutting and the presentation of special awards.

ACOE expects over 300 participants drawn from the media industry, government agencies, the legislature, diplomatic corps, security institutions, civil society groups and NGOs.
