Adamu Bows Out as Alkali Appointed New Police Boss
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of DIG Usman Alkali Baba as acting Inspector General of Police (IGP).
Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, made the disclosure to State House correspondents on Tuesday.
Baba replaces Mohammed Adamu as Nigeria’s police chief.
Buhari had on February 4 extended the tenure of Adamu as the IGP for three months.
