Suspected Cultists Kill Chemist in Ilorin
The people of Ogidi area in Ilorin were on Friday afternoon thrown into a state of confusion when guys suspected to be cultists had a field day, leading to apprehension and reported loss of life.
Intercontinental News 247 gathered that the gang stormed the area in large numbers with two female among in 2 Keke Napep and 1 saloon car.
According to a source, they headed to the house of their targeted victim, inquiring about his whereabouts until spotted and severely hacked after being shot at the back while running to escape.
The victim was identified as Sheu Mosadi, popularly known as MSD. He ran a chemist shop.
“They stormed his house, asked after him from one of his neighbours; shot him at the back while he’s trying to escape. He was later brutally cut at the head sequel to the injury from the gunshot. No one could rescue him as the sounds of Gunshots made everyone run for their lives,” an eye witness narrated.
“He runs a mini drug store (Chemist) in front of their house.”
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed the cultists’ clash in Ilorin metropolis but cannot ascertain the number of casualties as at the time of this report.
