Flood Warning: Kwara Govt Urges Residents to Relocate from Prone Areas
The Kwara State Government has issued a stern warning to residents, urging them to take flood alerts seriously and heed precautionary measures put in place by the government and traditional institutions.

Additionally, residents are being discouraged from engaging in activities that exacerbate the threats of climate change and rising water levels.
In riverine communities, such as Patigi and Edu, traditional leaders are working closely with residents to relocate them to safer areas. The government is appealing to residents to adhere to this advisory, promising support in various ways.
