To ensure a smooth and safe celebration, the FRSC has mobilized its entire workforce and logistics to identified black spots across the country.
This special operation, which commenced on December 15, 2024, will run until January 15, 2025.
The FRSC has also urged Nigerians to join its ongoing campaign for a safer road environment and to offer special prayers for peace and safety during church services.
In case of emergencies, the FRSC Emergency number, 122, will be available throughout the festive period.
INCNews247 reports that motorists are advised to tune into the FRSC National Traffic Radio, 107.1 FM, for traffic alerts and updates.
The Corps Marshal has tasked FRSC personnel to ensure the free flow of traffic and a zero-death Yuletide celebration.
This year’s “Operation Zero Tolerance” is part of the FRSC’s annual effort to manage the expected traffic surge during the Yuletide and New Year celebrations.
