IEDPU FCT Lauds Alhaji Zakariyyau Babatunde for Laptop, Printer Donation

The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has commended one of its illustrious sons, Alhaji Zakariyyau Babatunde, Chief Executive Officer of Uphill Technology Ltd, for his generous donation of a brand-new HP laptop and printer to the Union.
Alhaji Zakariyyau, during a courtesy visit to the Union, also inspected the ongoing construction of the IEDPU FCT Secretariat, where the project engineer, Engr. Taofik Abdulkadir Oniwe, briefed him on the current stage of work and timelines for completion.
Speaking on behalf of the Union, the Chairman, Alhaji Lukman Atanda Abdullahi, described the gesture as yet another demonstration of the donor’s commitment to the progress of Ilorin Emirate.

“We are profoundly grateful to Alhaji Zakariyyau Babatunde for this thoughtful contribution to the growth of our Union,” the Chairman said.
“His support comes at a time when we are consolidating efforts to strengthen our Secretariat operations and complete our permanent structure. This laptop and printer will go a long way in enhancing our administrative capacity.”
Alhaji Abdullahi further recalled recent interventions by other well-meaning sons of Ilorin Emirate towards the Secretariat project, noting that such collective commitment reflects the unity and vision of the community.
“Just recently, we received a brand-new Toyota Hiace bus, land and financial contributions from distinguished members of our Union. Today, we are witnessing yet another shining example of generosity and dedication to our common heritage,” he added.
“We pray Almighty Allah continues to bless and uplift Alhaji Zakariyyau, and indeed all donors who have identified with this noble cause.”
The IEDPU FCT Secretariat project, when completed, is expected to serve as an administrative hub and meeting point for members, while also hosting programmes that promote the cultural and socio-economic development of the Ilorin Emirate in the Federal Capital Territory.
