IEF, WOWBII Donate First-ever Digital Interactive Board to NCoS

 

 

The Inmates Educational Foundation, IEF and WOWBII Interactive have launched the first-ever Digital Interactive Board in a Nigerian Correctional Center, NCoS.

 

 

The innovative technology board was donated to the Special Boys Correctional Center, Oregun, Lagos.

 

 

The Digital Interactive Board is designed to transform the teaching and learning experiences of young inmates by providing them with interactive and engaging learning experiences.

 

 

This initiative underscores the importance of digital tools in reimagining education within correctional centers across Nigeria.

According to Mahfuz Alabidun, Executive Director of IEF, “Our organization is committed to liberating and reforming inmates in Nigeria through quality education and digital literacy. This digital interactive board is a significant step towards achieving our goal.”

 

 

Gbolahan Olayomi, CEO of WOWBII Interactive, emphasized the need for transforming lives through technology. “Education is a universal right, and every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves access to tools that equip them for a brighter future.”

 

 

The program featured a training session for teachers and coordinators on the usage and maintenance of the interactive board.

 

 

The event was attended by dignitaries, including the Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Lagos State, who was represented by Mrs. Jaiyeola O.A.

 

 

The launch was also graced by other notable personalities, including the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of WOWBII Interactive, Chief (Mrs.) TOYIN Awoseyi, and the Director of the Agency of Mass Education, represented by Mrs. SERIKI IBUKUN.

 

 

The initiative has been hailed as a groundbreaking move, redefining the future of education in Nigeria’s correctional centers.
