Karma as IPOB Planted Bomb Severely Wound Own Members in Imo

An improvised explosive device (IED) installed by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), burst on Wednesday, injuring two members of the proscribed organisation, according to the Nigeria Army.
In a statement, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, Director Army Public Relations, said the incident happened along the Eke Ututu-Orsu route in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State.

According to the statement, while seeking to dodge forces’ onslaught on terrorists in the area, the dissidents inadvertently trod on an IED that they had hidden along numerous routes in Orlu, Orsu Local Government Area.
He said the outlawed group have severally planted IEDs along troops’ patrol routes in failed effort to bring harm to the troops.
It urged all peace loving people of the South-East to please inform troops of possible areas where the explosives have been buried for proper evacuation and disposal.
