Kwara North Youths Endorse Araba for 2027 Governorship

Youths from the five Local Government Areas of Kwara North Senatorial District have declared their support for the gubernatorial aspiration of Engr. Femi Sanni, popularly known as Araba.
The endorsement was announced during a gathering at the Nupe Emirate Council meeting point, where young people from Edu, Moro, Kaiama, Baruten and Patigi Local Government Areas converged to present a united front in backing the aspirant.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Comrade Abdulrahman Alfa from Patigi Local Government Area said the decision followed what he described as extensive consultations among youth groups across the district.

He said the youths were persuaded by Araba’s competence, commitment to youth development and what he termed a progressive vision for Kwara State.
Alfa said, “We believe Engr. Femi Sanni Araba possesses the capacity to provide purposeful and inclusive leadership for Kwara State. Our support is driven by the conviction that our state requires experienced, people-centred leadership that understands the needs of youths and communities across all senatorial districts.”
He added that the endorsement reflected a collective resolve by young people in Kwara North to play an active role in shaping the political direction of the state ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Participants at the meeting, drawn from the five LGAs, also pledged to mobilise support for the aspirant across the district as political activities begin to gather momentum.
