Youths across the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State, under the aegis of Kwara Youth for Good Governance, have declared support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while endorsing Engr. Femi Sanni for the state’s governorship.

The group made this known in a communiqué issued on Friday, following what it described as extensive consultations and assessment of governance in the state.

According to the communiqué obtained by INCNews247 and signed by its convener, Salman Idris Olamilekan, the youths expressed confidence in the continuity of good governance and sustained developmental progress in Kwara State.

They commended the leadership direction and reform efforts of Tinubu’s administration, stating that continuity at the federal level would ensure stability and national growth.

The youths further noted that Kwara’s future depends on leadership that is competent, experienced, accessible, and people-oriented, stressing the need for alignment with the Federal Government to maximise development outcomes.

The communiqué also revealed that after wide consultations, the group found Engr. Femi Sanni, popularly known as “Araba,” to possess the required capacity, character, and experience to lead the state.

They pledged readiness across all local government areas to support a leadership vision anchored on unity, inclusion, and people-centred governance.

The group added that the declaration was made freely and independently in the interest of the progress of Kwara State and Nigeria.
