In a swift response to the devastating flood in Maiduguri, troops of Operation Hadin Kai have launched a massive evacuation operation, deploying over 23 boats to rescue residents and inmates affected by the disaster.

INCNews247 reports that troops are working tirelessly to provide aid and relief to affected residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.

In a statement by Major General Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations on Friday in Abuja, said the military operation, which is ongoing, aims to ensure the safe evacuation of those trapped by the floodwaters, particularly in the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Maiduguri and other parts of the state.
