Nigerian Islamic Council Condemns Attack on Ondo Catholic Church
The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs NSCIA, under the leadership of its President-General and Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji. Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar strongly condemns the attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State.

A statement issued by the council stated that the crime is not only against humanity but grievous and inexplicable sin.
It urged all peoples of Faith to be in the vanguard to halt the evil assailing lives property and integrity of humanity.
The Council also calls on the Governments at all levels to unravel the identity and bring to book the perpetrators of the act.
The Council stands in solidarity with the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, the Catholic community, the government and people of Ondo State and commiserates with the families of the victims in distress.
