NIMC DG Conferred With Honourary Doctorate Degree

The Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, has been conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja.
The award was presented to Engr. Coker-Odusote at the university’s 10th Convocation ceremony held in Abuja on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
The honorary doctorate degree is in recognition of her outstanding contributions to nation-building, particularly her remarkable achievements in identity management.

Under her leadership, NIMC has undergone significant transformations, revolutionizing the identity management space in Nigeria.

In her acceptance speech, Engr. Coker-Odusote expressed her gratitude to the management of the African University of Science and Technology for the honor.
She pledged to continue making meaningful contributions to the development of Nigeria, stating that she would not rest on her laurels.
