He explained that through the agency’s efforts, Nigeria aims to achieve 95% digital literacy by 2030.
To achieve this goal, NITDA is collaborating with the Ministry of Education to develop digital skills curriculum and incorporating digital literacy into formal education.
Additionally, the agency is providing digital literacy training to informal sectors, such as market women and artisans.
The agency is also partnering with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to train 30 million Nigerians through the Digital Literacy for All initiative, which has already started in 12 states and will be extended to all states.
The Director General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dasuki Arabi, emphasized that digital transformation is crucial for Nigeria’s public service, promoting citizen engagement, and fostering inclusive governance.
Arabi noted that with the right technology and innovation, Nigeria can fulfill the mandates of the Renewed Hope Agenda and create a more prosperous and inclusive society for all Nigerians.
