NITDA’s partnership with GIZ/DTC aims to establish standards for digital literacy content aligned with the NDLF’s objectives, ensuring high-quality learning materials.

Inuwa emphasized NITDA’s commitment to digital inclusion through programs targeting underserved segments like women and artisans, reiterating the importance of collaborative efforts in implementing NITDA’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP) 2.0.

The SRAP 2.0 is being aligned with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy policy document to accelerate inclusivity in the digital economy.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the NDLF, its components, and potential impact in bridging the digital divide among Nigerians.

Dr. Thuweba Diwani of GIZ/DTC Nigeria anticipated the session to facilitate dialogue and develop a Participatory Policy Implementation Framework (PPIF) for sustainable policies.

DTC Nigeria, funded by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development focuses on digitalization, innovation, and entrepreneurship to enhance Nigeria’s digital innovation ecosystem.

Representatives from various Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), and private sectors attended the dialogue, demonstrating a collaborative effort towards digital empowerment.

The moderator, Mr. Tayo Olosunde, confirmed similar stakeholder sessions held in Kano and Abuja.
