Tinubu Commends AbdulRazaq’s Leadership in Nigeria Governors’ Forum
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR has commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, recognizing his pivotal role in ensuring stability for Nigeria’s developmental policies through his leadership of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
Tinubu expressed gratitude during a Christmas homage visit by AbdulRazaq and his colleagues to Tinubu’s Lagos residence.
Acknowledging the governors for fostering peace, unity, and socio-economic development, President Tinubu emphasized their collaborative efforts with his administration to achieve the Renewed Hope agenda.
Tinubu remarked, “AbdulRazaq’s leadership role within the NGF reflects the trust and confidence placed in him by his peers.”
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who arrived in Lagos Thursday evening for Christmas and New Year celebrations, welcomed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and other governors to his residence.
The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, AbdulRazaq, along with his colleagues, had earlier paid Christmas homage to the President, where they also met Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima.
Among the governors present during the visit were Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo, Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano, Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue, Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau, Governor Umar Dikko Radda of Katsina.
Also in attendance were Acting Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo, Governor-elect Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Governor Ahmad Aliyu of Sokoto, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Governor Francis Nwifiuru of Ebonyi, and Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers.
