The Tinubu Media Support Group (TMSG) has attributed the recent surge in federally generated revenue to the success of President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies, dubbed “Tinubunomics”.
According to the group, the revenue jumped from N2.942 trillion in May to N4.232 trillion in June 2025, the highest ever recorded by the country.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Emeka Nwankpa, and Secretary, Dapo Okubanjo, TMSG said the development was a culmination of the financial engineering by the Tinubu administration, particularly with the introduction of fuel subsidy removal and harmonization of foreign exchange windows.

The group noted that the country’s daily crude oil production had also increased to 1.697 million barrels per day, comprising 1.505 million barrels per day of crude oil and 191,572 barrels per day of condensate.
This, it said, was a testament to the improved investment atmosphere in the oil sector.
TMSG added that the increased revenue had led to consistently high FAAC allocations to all tiers of government, with the June 2025 allocation reaching N1.818 trillion.
The group urged Nigerians to demand more from state and local governments now that they are receiving increased federal allocations.
The group’s Chairman and Secretary expressed optimism that the increased allocations would begin to reflect in the well-being of the people, saying it was a far cry from the eras when the managers of the country’s finances dipped into reserves to augment distributable revenue to all tiers of government.
