In Major Victory, Troops Wipe Out Terrorists, Destroy Encampments in Zurmi LG

Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the security of the nation as they neutralised seven terrorists and apprehended two others, while also successfully destroying numerous enemy encampments in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara on Saturday.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, announced this feat in a statement released on Sunday in Abuja.
During a fierce engagement with the bandits at Birnin Tsaba, Tsanu, Lamba, Gabas, Gidan Kaso, and Dumburum Forest in Zurmi Local Government Area of the state, the troops displayed their superior tactical skills and resilience.

The troops recovered seven motorcycles, two empty AK 47 magazines, and one Baofeng radio from the terrorists.
In response to the arrest of a terrorist informant on April 21, troops conducted a follow-up operation, leading to the arrest of two additional terrorists at Shinkafi town in Shinkafi Local Government Area.
Danmadami said the suspects were in possession of one motorcycle and three mobile phones at the time of their arrest.
