IEDPU FCT Chapter Congratulates Emir of Ilorin on 29th Anniversary
The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, IEDPU FCT Chapter has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on his 29th anniversary.
According to Alhaji Lukman Atanda Abdullah, Chairman of IEDPU FCT Chapter, “His Royal Highness has continued to add colour to the throne of his forebears through his creative, innovative and inclusive leadership that is people-focused.”

Abdullah expressed delight that the reign of the First Class traditional ruler has brought tremendous socio-economic development and expansion to the Ilorin Emirate in particular and Kwara state in general.
“The 29-year reign of the Emir has brought tremendous socio-economic development and expansion to the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State. He has also brought unprecedented unity to the Ilorin Emirate and its environs,” he said.
He described the Emir as “a father figure, custodian of Ilorin’s rich cultural heritage, and vanguard of peace and unity who believes in the oneness and indivisibility of Nigeria.”
