KAB Foundation Provides 10 Motorized Boreholes to Kwara Communities

The KAB Foundation, in collaboration with the Bank of Industry, has inaugurated ten motorized boreholes across various schools in the Oke Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State.

 

 

INCNews247 reports that the project aims to alleviate water scarcity challenges, enhancing health, hygiene, and quality of life for residents.

 

 

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, represented by Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi, praised the initiative, emphasizing his administration’s commitment to partnerships that promote essential services and infrastructural development.

Honourable Prince Kehinde Alex Bankole, the project’s benefactor, highlighted his foundation’s dedication to impactful projects in the community.

 

 

Bankole noted that the strategic placement of boreholes in schools facilitates easier access to water for students, teachers, and community members.

 

 

He encouraged fellow affluent individuals in Ekan to engage in initiatives benefiting their locality.

 

 

The Paramount Ruler of Oke-Ero, Oba David Adekunle Olaniyan, commended Prince Kehinde Alex Bankole for revitalizing the community, while Honourable James Fadipe, Chairman of Oke-Ero Local Government Area, expressed gratitude to the governor for supporting the initiative.

 

 

Notable attendees included Commissioner for Social Development Honorable Bosede Olaitan Buraimoh, former Youth Commissioner Honorable Olabode Towoju, and President of the Ekan Development Association Barrister Kayode Towoju.
