NIDCOM Hails Sakinah Medical Outreach for Upcoming Free Medical Mission in Abuja 

 

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has praised Sakinah Medical Outreach (SMO) for its forthcoming medical mission, which aims to provide free medical care to underserved Nigerians.

 

In a statement issued by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, NIDCOM’s spokesperson on Friday, the commission’s Chairman/CEO, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, commended SMO’s dedication to serving humanity and upholding Islamic values of compassion, care, and love.

 

The medical mission, scheduled to take place from February 16th to 21st, 2025, at the National Hospital Abuja, will offer various medical procedures, including urethroplasty, kidney stone surgery, and hernia repairs, to over 100 beneficiaries.

 

INCNews247 reports that SMO has a remarkable track record of providing free medical care to over 13,000 Nigerians in the past 16 years, both in Nigeria and abroad.

Dr. Yusuf Salman, Chairman of Sakinah Medical Outreach, expressed his organization’s commitment to upholding Islamic values and making a positive impact on the lives of their beneficiaries.

 

He also acknowledged the support of their partners, Medics Across Continents (MAC) and National Hospital Abuja.

 

According to him, “We believe that every human life is precious and deserves access to quality “.
