The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN has announced a three-hour power interruption in Ijebu-Ode and its environs, Ogun State, on Friday.
TCN said the interruption would be caused by scheduled annual preventive maintenance on the Sagamu/Ijebu-Ode 132kV transmission line switchgear equipment.
The company disclosed this in a statement announcing the maintenance exercise.
According to TCN, its maintenance crew will carry out the exercise between 10am and 1pm today.

The company said the maintenance would affect the ability of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC to off-take electricity to customers in Ijebu-Ode and surrounding communities during the three-hour period.
TCN apologised to electricity consumers in the affected areas for the inconvenience the planned maintenance may cause.
The company said the exercise was part of its scheduled preventive maintenance activities on the transmission network.
