Barrister Adelodun Provides Free Treatment to Over 1500 Ilorin Residents

Over 1500 residents in Ajikobi Ward in Ilorin West LGA, and Centre Igboro of Balogun Fulani Ward in Ilorin South LGA of Kwara State have received free medical treatment through Barrister Mohammed Adelodun Ajikobi’s Medical Outreach.
INCNews247 reports that the two-day event, spearheaded by a team of doctors, pharmacists, and nurses, focused on screening and providing free drugs to individuals facing various health challenges.
Conditions such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, malaria, respiratory tract infections, urogenital infections, skin infections, musculoskeletal pain among others were addressed.

Dr. Monsur Babaita, the medical team leader, emphasised the significance of the outreach, underscoring the prevalence of health issues among the population.
He urged continued medical support for individuals facing health challenges.
On his part, Barrister Mohammed Adelodun Ajikobi, the convener, highlighted the mission’s purpose as a medical palliative to support the less privileged who struggle to access healthcare services.
“It is an opportunity for the people to have access to affordable medical services. It is a sole sponsorship. But I have been enjoying support from my family and friends, who are providing financial, physical and moral support to achieve the desired objective of assisting our people,” disclosed Ajikobi.
“I decided to embark on this medical outreach to assist people, especially the less privileged who do not have access to medical healthcare due to financial constraints.
“The doctors, nurses and pharmacists are volunteers. They are also supporting us to assist our people. The two days medical outreach were held in Ajikobi district of Ilorin West Local Government Area and Centre Igboro of Balogun Fulani ward in Ilorin South Local Government Area.”
During the outreach, INCNews247 observes drugs worth millions of naira were distributed, as individuals with critical conditions were referred to the teaching hospital, with plans to subsidize their medical bills.
This marks the sixth edition of the medical outreach, with the Abuja-based legal practitioner expressing gratitude for the continuous support received.
Beneficiaries of the medical outreach expressed their gratitude, citing financial constraints that often hindered their access to healthcare.
They called upon privileged individuals and community leaders to follow Barr Adelodun’s example and contribute to initiatives that bring relief to the less privileged.
