AbdulRazaq Extols Rev. Olawoore on Condolence Visit to CAN

AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the governor of Kwara State, paid a condolence visit to the Christian Association of Nigeria on Friday following the death of its state chairman, Most Rev Paul Olawoore.

Mr Kayode Alabi, the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, delivered a condolence message on behalf of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq at the CAN secretariat in Ganmo. He prayed that God would console the immediate family, Christian body, and the state at large.

AbdulRahman stated that now is a time for sober reflection because everyone’s mission on earth would be completed at God’s designated time.

Most Rev Olawoore, he continued, has completed his role and has gone to his rest and reward.

Governor AbdulRazaq said that the Late Bishop Olawoore will be missed for his gentleness, wise counsel to the government and his active role in maintaining a peaceful Kwara.

He urged the immediate family and CAN to take solace in the fact that the late Bishop lived a life dedicated to the service of God and humanity.

Earlier, the vice chairman CAN, Bishop Adewole thanked the Kwara state government for identifying with the Christian body at this trying time.

He assured that the Christian body in Kwara state will continue to support the government and pray for the success of this administration.
