26-Year-Old Nigerian, Abideen Olasupo to Speak at UNDP-AfCTA Fireside Chats

The CEO and Co-Founder of dHub Innovation Centre-Nigeria, Abideen Olasupo is among discussants billed to speak at the United Nations Development Program, UNDP Fireside Chats on the Africa Free Continental Trade Agreement (AfCTA).
With the theme “How can Africa’s Youth Make the ‘One African Market’ Magic a Reality?”, the Fireside chat, which is organised in collaboration with YouLead will hold today, Wednesday July 21, 2021.
Other discussants are Adebola Williams of Red for Africa, HE. Filsan A. Ahmed, the Ethiopian Minister of Gender, Children and Youths, Continental Policy Makers, Development Partners, Eminent Business Leaders, and other Africans from different industries who will be discussing the prospects of the AfCFTA.
Olasupo alongside other discussants will be addressing issues relating to the opportunities AfCTA afford African youth and startups, their state of readiness and capacity to explore such opportunities. He will also be discussing his baby project ‘Gas Secure’ and plans to explore the AfCTA agreement to have presence in some African countries.
It will be recalled that Olasupo featured at the United Nations Special Session of the General Assembly (UNGASS) against Corruption Youth Forum in May 2021, where he represented Nigeria. He also, few days ago, joined other consultants to review the USAID Youth Policy document.
27-year-old Olasupo Abideen is an international multiple award-winning business consultant and has worked with and trained different Startups in Africa, including WheelsForLife, Kenya that recently won the World Health Organisation award.
