ASKOMP Congratulates Egbetokun on Appointment as Acting IGP

The Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) has expressed its congratulations to Acting Inspector General of Police, DIG Kayode Egbetokun, on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released on Monday, ASKOMP Chairman, Salihu Shola Taofeek, hailed Egbetokun as a dedicated, committed, and highly professional Police Officer.

Taofeek noted that the new Acting Inspector General of Police possesses a deep understanding of modern policing and an outstanding track record of service.
He further acknowledged Egbetokun’s positive rapport with ASKOMP and other journalists during his tenure as the Commissioner of Police in Kwara State.
The association, therefore, expressed its well wishes for a successful tenure in office and offered prayers for divine guidance to facilitate the desired reforms within the Nigeria Police Force.
