Bakare Seeks Igbomina Leaders’ Backing Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon. Moshood Bakare, has sought the prayers, counsel and support of Igbomina traditional and community leaders ahead of his bid to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.
Bakare made the appeal during a courtesy visit to Igbomina House on Friday, where he was received by the National President of Omo Ibile Igbomina, Sir Chief Bisi Fakayode.
The PDP flagbearer, while reaffirming his commitment to the development of Igbomina land, said effective leadership must be rooted in a deep understanding of the people and their heritage.

Bakare described Fakayode’s leadership as exemplary, noting his contributions to the unity and socio-economic advancement of the Igbomina people.
He said his visit was also aimed at formally seeking the blessings and guidance of the Igbomina leadership as he prepares for the election and a possible mandate to represent the people of Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun at the federal level.
Receiving Bakare, Fakayode commended the candidate for demonstrating respect for the community and its cultural heritage.
He also praised Bakare’s record of public service and offered prayers for wisdom, protection and success in his political ambition.
