President Muhammadu Buhari has exercised his franchise at Polling Unit 003, Sarkin Yara A in Daura, Katsina State.
Speaking to journalists in both English and Hausa languages shortly after casting his ballot on Saturday, he urged voters to choose their preferred candidates, regardless of any attempts by politicians to bribe them.

The President reiterated his administration’s stance against vote-buying and the monetisation of politics, and called on all politicians to refrain from such practices. “If they (politicians) still give you money, collect, but vote for your preferred candidates,” Buhari stated.
He also expressed his gratitude to the electorate for their continued trust in the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections, which saw the party’s candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu, emerge as the winner.
