Kwara: Voting Commences at Community Sch. Oko Ode

The much-awaited gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections have commenced peacefully at Community Sch. Oko Ode in Ifelodun Local Government of Kwara State.

INCNews247 reporter on ground said there was a high turnout of voters, with many eager to exercise their civic duty and choose their preferred candidates.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, a total of 1600 ballot papers have been made available, with 800 for the House of Assembly and the remaining 800 for the gubernatorial elections.

Speaking with some of the voters, they expressed satisfaction with the electoral process, as everything was going smoothly, with no reported cases of violence or intimidation.

The atmosphere in Oko Ode was really peaceful, and this has contributed to a peaceful electoral process.

As at the time of filing this report, voting was still ongoing.
